Am Freitag, den 15.08.2025, von 14 Uhr bis 17 Uhr findet das Workshop: Beteiligung ohne Wahlrecht – das geht! von kulturgrenzenlos im Semikolon, Alte Mu.

Über Workshop:

„ In Deutschland wählen die Menschen alle paar Jahre die Personen, die sie politisch vertreten. Das wird parlamentarische Demokratie genannt. Menschen ohne deutschen Pass, zum Beispiel viele Geflüchtete oder Migrantinnen, dürfen meistens nicht wählen. Sie fühlen sich deshalb oft nicht als Teil der Gesellschaft. Aber auch ohne Wahlrecht können wir uns aktiv in die Gesellschaft einbringen! Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, die eigene Meinung zu sagen. Oder zum Beispiel einen Verein zu gründen oder bei einer Initiative mitzumachen. Alle Menschen dürfen auf Versammlungen oder Demonstrationen gehen.
In diesem Workshop sprechen wir über Mitmachen, Teilhaben und Stärken. Wir besprechen, wie du auch ohne Wahlrecht aktiv sein kannst – und was du selbst tun kannst.

On Friday, 15.08.2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm the kulturgrenzenlos Workshop: Participation without voting rights – it’s possible!will take place at Semikolon, Alte Mu (Lorenzendamm 6-8, 24103 Kiel). 

About Workshop:

„In Germany, people elect the individuals who represent them politically every few years. This is called parliamentary democracy. People without a German passport, for example many refugees or migrants, are usually not allowed to vote. As a result, they often do not feel like part of society.

But even without the right to vote, we can still actively participate in society! There are many ways to express your opinion. Or, for example, to found an association or join an initiative. Everyone is allowed to attend meetings or demonstrations.

In this workshop, we will talk about participation, involvement, and strengths. We will discuss how you can be active even without the right to vote—and what you can do yourself.
